Everscale NFT technology is now available in China, granting Chinese developers access to fast-growing market
Everscale’s Open Permissioned Blockchain (OPB) protocol now supports the adoption of NFTs in China with the BSN-DDC Network
Beijing, China, May 5th, 2022 — EverX, a global blockchain software firm and core developer of the Everscale blockchain, announced the next phase of their partnership with the Blockchain-based Service Network (BSN) as a framework provider on the BSN-Distributed Digital Certificate (BSN-DDC) Network to support the adoption of NFT technology in China.
Hot off the heels of the recent integration announcement, EverX and the BSN further solidify their support for NFT growth and innovation in China by both building the infrastructure and giving developers the right tools to create their own NFTs. Currently, NFT technology is only allowed in China as long as it’s not associated with cryptocurrencies, which is why the BSN developed the BSN-DDC Network, an infrastructure built using OPBs as the underlying frameworks, allowing permissioned control over node deployment and utility fees in fiat currencies rather than cryptocurrencies.
As Chinese developers now have access to Everscale’s NFT technology, as well as the BSN-DDC Network, which complies with local regulations, creators and entrepreneurs can finally take major steps in establishing the Chinese NFT industry–and the market is ready. Alibaba and Tencent, two of China’s leading technology corporations, are noted to have heavily invested in the NFT market.
With growing Chinese public interest in the NFT market, Yifan He, CEO of Red Date Technology, believes in the next five years there will be billions — if not trillions — of NFTs generated in China and expected to be widely used in cases such as certificates or identity instruments.
Due to the integration of Everscale’s OPB technology, developers are equipped to not only produce real-life applications that require a scalable backend and use cases in compliance with China’s regulatory framework, but also operate a decentralized network to do so.
