November 18, 2020 — TON Labs, the core developer of the Free TON network, announced the appointment of Cyril Paglino as Chief Executive Officer.

Cyril started his entrepreneurial technology career in 2008 as the founder Wizee, a digital art agency offering services to clients such as L’Oréal, BMW, Visa, Sofitel, Nokia, Sony, Lacoste, Publicis, Havas, and many others. He successfully sold the company in 2013 and became deeply intrigued by blockchain technology and started investing in Bitcoins. In 2014 he moved to Silicon Valley and founded Tribe, a video messaging app backed by Sequoia Capital, KPCB, Kima and Partech among others. In 2017 he founded Starchain Capital, a cryptocurrency venture capital firm. Starchain invested in over 20 companies including Coinbase, MakerDao, PolkaDot, Orchid, Numerai, just to name a few. In 2019 Cyril also launched The Garage — Europe’s largest blockchain incubator.
